All children aged 5-11 yrs will be now be offered the first dose of the Pfizer/ BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
The COVID-19 vaccination will reduce the chance of your child suffering from COVID-19 disease. It may take a few weeks for their body to build up some protection from the vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccinations for children aged 5-11 will commence from Early March 2022. If your child attends Medina House School, St George’s School or St Catherine’s School you will be provided with the date of your child’s planned school session in advance and you will be asked to complete a consent form, which you can find here.
If your child attends a mainstream school site or is educated at home, you will be invited to book into a designated session being held at a local Family Centre on the island.
